Worth A Listen (Not an April Fool’s)

I’ve been missing This American Life.  Last week’s, The Audacity of Government, is worth a listen.  Check it out.

I was intrigued by the set-up to these pieces - the man who said that he had campaigned very hard for GWB in 2000 and 2004. I think that this bit of context took more time than the piece… OK, I exagerate. Clearly this was vital to understading his story and, living in a state where people still believe that GWB is doing a terrific job, I understand the need.

yeah — it was pretty interesting. and i also appreciated the add of “He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.” at the end. (ooo — full text of the declaration of independence) Mmmmm. TSA. I mean — they keep us safe even if they scratch their heads with our ID’s.
